Barbuda

We will cross the Pillars of Hercules and make our way to the Antilles Sea, the Caribbean Sea, the West Indies.
The sea is an adventure that has been renewed for centuries, always with the same emotion in the eyes every time you make the decision to go.
We will leave from the South of Sardinia with the boat to get to Antigua and Barbuda.
Antigua and Barbuda is a sovereign island country in the West Indies in the Americas, located between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It consists of two main islands that are separated by an arm of sea of about 25 miles, scattered by smaller islands.
From the first days of December 2022 until April 2023, Aba will be moored in this charming and fascinating archipelago, which is a true pearl of the West Indies, with low land, small islands and coral reefs. The islands are a place rich in biodiversity, where you can easily meet turtles, rays and colourful reef fish, surrounded by the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean.

Barbuda

Barbuda and its wonders

Barbuda is the second largest island of the Antigua-Barbuda archipelago in the Lesser Antilles. It hides a magnificent natural treasure: a pink sandy beach, almost unbelievable to the sight. The wildlife that thrives in this land is one of the richest in the world.

For fans of kite, in this island begins the real fun, where you can find remote and secluded paradise beaches with long sandy shores and coral reefs. Barbuda offers every kind of kiting spot you could wish for. From headlands and lagoons to cliffs and bays, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The crystal clear water, which fades from the clearest to the deepest blue, will be an irresistible attraction.

With Aba To Barbuda

Barbuda is about 4 hours away by boat and is a desert paradise. This flat island has only a small town and miles of empty beaches lined with palm trees. The kitespots of Barbuda are out of this world: they are located on long, white sandy beaches bordered by palm trees that stand out on a mirrored turquoise sea. In this offshore spot safety is guaranteed by our auxiliary tender.

The spots are safe and you are informed about the possible dangers. You can launch your kite from sandy beaches near the boat or directly from the boat. If you want to take a break, you can easily land your kite from the boat, have a snack and continue when you are ready. The crew will help you to do it safely and without swimming unnecessarily.

This is a dream place for a kite cruise with private sessions on vast and pristine turquoise lagoons! The best way to discover the different kite spots is on board of our boat, while the best time is during the dry season, from December to May. This period boasts reliable winds between 15 and 25 knots and sunny weather.
The winds are constantly blowing off the east coast for sailing enthusiasts. The western bays offer, throughout the year, clear and calm waters.
