Antigua

We will cross the Pillars of Hercules and make our way to the Antilles Sea, the Caribbean Sea, the West Indies.
The sea is an adventure that has been renewed for centuries, always with the same emotion in the eyes every time you make the decision to go.
We will leave from the South of Sardinia with the boat to get to Antigua and Barbuda.
Antigua and Barbuda is a sovereign island country in the West Indies in the Americas, located between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It consists of two main islands that are separated by an arm of sea of about 25 miles, scattered by smaller islands.
From the first days of December 2022 until April 2023, Aba will be moored in this charming and fascinating archipelago, which is a true pearl of the West Indies, with low land, small islands and coral reefs. The islands are a place rich in biodiversity, where you can easily meet turtles, rays and colourful reef fish, surrounded by the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean.

With Aba to Antigua

In Antigua there is a beach for every day of the year: in fact, there are 365 beautiful beaches that characterise the island. Visible and on full display directly from the road, some are reachable by walking, others only by jeep or from the coast by boat.
The coral reefs, open to the sea, offer to the sight underwater forests rich of colonies of fishes and other creatures that the sea can give us for shapes and colours.

The small islands and the coral reef of Antigua give us incredible spots for kitesurfing.
There are completely flat spots on the inside part and spots with waves and choppy on the outside.
In Antigua there is a beautiful spot called Green Island, behind the reef open to the NE trade winds, a wind that goes from 15 to 25 knots always very constant and tense.

Antigua is one of the most fascinating islands in the Caribbean and offers some great opportunities to visit, as well as some landmarks for kitesurfing.
The Admiral Nelsons dockyard to the south has remained as it was and the nearby English harbour offers breathtaking scenery.
